Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Safari & Co ("we", "us") operates this website and the venue at 142 W Marketgait, Dundee DD1 1NJ. For any privacy question, email info@safariandco.co.uk.

2. Information we collect

• Mailing list — if you sign up, we collect your email address (and first name, if given).
• Enquiries — if you email us, we hold the details you send.
• Bookings — when booking goes live it is handled by our booking provider (TableSense); any details you enter there are processed under their privacy terms.
• Usage data — basic, non-identifying information about how the site is used.

3. How we use it

To send you the launch/marketing updates you asked for, to respond to enquiries, to take and manage bookings, and to run and improve the website. We will only send marketing where you have opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Legal basis

We rely on your consent for marketing emails, and our legitimate interests (running the venue and website) for enquiries and site operation.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us operate: our website host, our email provider, our booking provider (TableSense), and — only if you choose to load the map — Google Maps. Each processes data under their own terms.

6. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We keep them to a minimum:

• Essential — needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice.
• Third-party — if you choose to load the Google Map on our Find Us page, Google may set cookies. The map does not load until you click to show it.

You can accept or decline via the banner shown on your first visit, and you can clear or block cookies at any time in your browser settings.

7. How long we keep it

We keep mailing-list data until you unsubscribe, and enquiry data for as long as needed to help you, then remove it.

8. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@safariandco.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
